The City of Mesa is getting its first film festival. And as a native who grew up in the largest Phoenix suburb, I have to say...it’s about time!! The man behind it is Indian Antao. He also started the Mesa Music Festival. Hailing from New Jersey, he fell in love with Arizona after visiting during the Super Bowl in 2015. Host Kaely Monahan caught up with him at the lounge in the Delta Hotel in downtown Mesa to find out how the inaugural Mesa International Film Festival came to be. Nearly four years after the final episode of "Downton Abbey" aired, we return to the home of the Crawley's. The origins of film are wrapped up in the romantic stories of the Lumière brothers and Thomas Edison. Moving pictures were a curiosity.
